With Mattéo, Jean-Pierre Gibrat embarks on an enthralling venture: depicting the upheavals of the first half of the 20th century through the journey of a young anarchist imbued with ideals and humanity. In the second volume of his adventures, Mattéo travels to Petrograd to witness the Russian revolution. The colors shine through on this beautiful page done in graphite, ink, and watercolor on art paper with a large image area of 13.75" x 18.5". The page is composed of two parts joined together with adhesive tape on the back. Very light handling wear. Signed in pencil. In Excellent condition.
