Description

Gray Morrow Barbara Cartland's Romances Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-30-82 (United Feature Syndicate, 1982). Bestselling author Barbara Cartland was so prolific, that a whopping 160 manuscripts remained unpublished at the time of her death in 2000. Some of her tales had proved ideal for adaptation into comics. Gray Morrow was the perfect artist for the job, immersing himself in a period-piece. Ink and Zipatone shading film over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 19.5" x 13.5". The board is toned, with adhesive staining/residue and handling wear. Included but detached is a color-guide overlay (on wrinkled tracing paper). In Very Good condition.
