Description
Mickey's Garden Mickey Mouse and Beetle Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1935). This classic Wilfred Jackson-directed short followed Mickey and Pluto as they tried to escape hallucinations of gigantic bugs brought on by Mickey's potent homemade pesticide. This amazingly tense trio of 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings from the short feature two full figure drawings of Mickey and one drawing of the enormous stag beetle chasing after him. These spectacular and detailed drawings can be found at about the 6:09 mark as Mickey spots the beetle and runs away from it as fast as his little legs can carry him. Each page is rendered in graphite with color pencil, ranging from about 2.5'' x 3'' to around 9'' x 6'' with effects included. The drawings are noted as 41, 2, 122 in the lower right. Good to Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and small tears on one drawing.Auction Info
