Mother Goose Goes Hollywood W. C. Fields and Charlie McCarthy Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). "Ah yes, my Little Chickadee... Let me inspect your tiny brood... oh, so it's you!" says W. C. Fields as Humpty Dumpty to Charlie McCarthy hiding in the bird's next. Here are two extraordinary vintage production drawings of W.C. Fields and Charlie McCarthy from the 1938 Wilfred Jackson-directed Silly Symphony short, Mother Goose Goes Hollywood. The artwork was rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. You can see these images around the 2:55 mark. The drawings are noted as number 12 and 92 in the lower right of each piece. Mild edge wear and toning. Condition is Very Good.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Silly Symphonies.
