Description
The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle Mighty Mouse and Pearl Pureheart Publicity Cel and Production Cels Group of 2 (Filmation, 1979-80). Classic Terrytoon character Mighty Mouse and his friends found a new home in this Filmation-produced Saturday morning series. Here are two great hand-painted cel items from that series. First, a fantastic publicity cel of Mighty Mouse flexing his muscle and lifting gal pal Pearl Pureheart in a huge image, measuring approximately 6" x 5.5". Super pose! Next is a 2-cel production cel image from the long-running serial "The Great Space Chase" that ran in all 16 Filmation episodes; the notation MIG11 on each cel indicates this is from Chapter 11, which first aired on 11/17/1979. Mighty Mouse is seen with King Muss and Queen Pearl of the Planet Humongo; figure sizes are 4.45" (the King), 2.5" (Pearl), and 2" (Mighty Mouse. The top cel includes a Filmation stamp; the scene-appropriate background is a print, added for presentation purposes. Both items are matted, with openings of 11" x 8.5" (for the publicity cel) and 11" x 8.25". Mat sizes are 18" x 14". Overall condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
