Description

Frank Robbins Johnny Hazard Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 2 (King Features Syndicate, 1959). A slick bank vice president can't help bragging about a million-dollar heist in the "In Every Port" arc, while the ever-alluring Sabina Eden prepares for a helicopter ride -- with Johnny Hazard quietly at her side -- in a moment from "Sequin" that hints at turbulence ahead. These original daily strips, dated 3-13 and 9-22 of 1959, spotlight Frank Robbins' flair for tight, cinematic storytelling. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 15" x 4.25". Toning, smudging, light production oil staining, glue residue staining, missing text correction paste-up, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, and minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
