Leonard Starr On Stage Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 2 (The Chicago Tribune/ N.Y. News, 1973). Leonard Starr's clever writing, along with his elegant brushwork, set a new standard for the "soap opera" comic strip. Dates are 3/23 and 3/24 of 1973. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 16.25" x 5". Light toning along the edges, whiteout corrections, with soft edge and corner wear.
