Description
Mickey's Garden Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1935). Mickey's plan of using his homemade bug poison to keep pests away backfires when he accidentally sprays himself! The short directed by Wilfred Jackson shows this terrifying scene with Mickey running away from the gigantic Stag Beetles while hallucinating due to the bug poison he sprayed on himself. This dynamic sequence happens at about the 6:15 mark of Mickey's Garden. The two animation drawings depicting the Stag Beetle are numbered 81 and 140 in the bottom right corner and have the giant insect measuring about 5.25" rendered in graphite with red and blue pencils. Mickey running away desperately has a figure size of 2.75" rendered in graphite with red pencil. The three drawings are done in 12 field size 2-peghole animation paper. The paper shows light toning and minimal handling wear from production. The condition of the sequence of drawings is Very Good.Auction Info
