Description
Harvey Artist Dagwood #10 Complete 5-Page Story "Inferior Decorator" Original Art (Harvey Comics, 1951). Dagwood learns (the hard way) that some jobs are better left to the professionals. A very accurate replica of originator Chic Young's classic style, from an unbilled studio artist. Dagwood's impulsive personality is more exaggerated in the comic-book series, than in Young's newspaper strip. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area of 8.25" x 12.75". The pages are toned. The logo is a stat paste-up, loosened. Text corrections appear in Panel 1 on Page 1, Panel 7 on Page 2, and Panel 2 on Page 5. Very Good condition, withal.More information about Harvey Artist.
