Description
Frank Borth - Police Comics Tribute Painting Original Art (1986). The Raven, Phantom Lady, and Spider Widow (with her green mask) are all featured on this tribute piece. Spider Widow and The Raven were actually created by Frank Borth in 1942. They had a four-part cross-over with Police Comics' Phantom Lady that ran through this title and Feature Comics. Borth was the artist on the crossover. (The Raven even gave a shout-out to the Blackhawks in the story!) This piece was created by Borth in 1986 in opaque watercolor on 15" x 20" illustration board.
