Description
Mickey Mouse Annual "Donald Duck's Dilemma" Storybook Illustrations Group of 2 (Walt Disney/Dean & Son, c. 1950s). Donald is upset, worried, can't sleep... maybe it's because his classic sailor suit outfit has changed from blue to red! There are six different images of Donald in this decidedly "non-standard" outfit, done for a British Mickey Mouse Annual story. Art is in gouache on illustration boards noted as Page 76 and 7, each measuring approximately 10.5" x 13.5". Image area on the first (not including the hand-lettered title) is 4.5" x 10.75", while the second page images (including the "Gloom" lettered thought balloon) is 6.5" x 12".
