Description
Jorgé Zaffino Savage Sword of Conan #162 Story Pages Original Art Group of 3 (Marvel, 1989). Summoned from his life of idle indulgence, King Milrathus is urged by his attendants to do his royal duty and sire an heir with one of his many wives. The king has little interest in such "strenuous" work, so the court's gaze turns northward -- where Conan is far less idle, drilling foreign mercenaries in the brutal craft of war. Includes Pages 2, 3, and 6 from "The Horned God", created in ink over graphite on thick paper with an image area of 10.5" x 15". Light toning, whiteout corrections, discolored text paste-ups, glue residue staining, missing text paste-ups, tape over page number paste-ups, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, smudging, and handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.From the Mike Mignola Collection.
