Description

Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Katharine Hepburn as Little Bo Peep Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "I'm Little Bo Peep. I've lost my sheep, really I have!" laments Little Bo Peep, played by Katharine Hepburn, in this star-studded 1938 Silly Symphony. Mother Goose Goes Hollywood parodies all the greatest stars of the 1930s, but with a twist - all the celebrities have become characters in classic nursery rhymes! This image depicts Hepburn's Bo Peep as she gracefully tiptoes across the screen in a frilly fairytale costume, a moment which can be found at about the 1:03 mark of the Wilfred Jackson-directed short. The drawing is created with graphite on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and it features an image of Bo Peep measuring about 4.25" x 7.25". The page is labeled in its lower right corner with 45. This personality-filled drawing is in Good condition, with handling, edge wear, age-related toning, and some small tears on its edges.
