Timothy Truman and Enrique Alcatena Hawkworld #1 Story Page 28 Original Art (DC, 1989). Katar Hol restrains a rather unpleasant socialite version of Shayera Thal on this page from the three-part prestige miniseries that rebooted the Hawkman mythos and led to a spin-off monthly series. Also of note: The restaurant manager in the bottom two panels bears an unmistakable resemblance to avant garde German singer Klaus Nomi. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.75" x 17.75". Discolored tape near the edges, mild toing and soiling along the edges, corner wear.
