Description
Harold Knerr The Katzenjammer Kids Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-13-49 (King Features Syndicate, 1949). Hans and Fritz rope the Captain into their cacti capers in this prickly Sunday! One of Knerr's final contributions to the strip, this Sunday was published just months before his passing in July 1949. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.75" x 15". The board is toned, with smudging, soiling, a stripped-in text correction in the seventh panel, a discolored stat logo paste-up, small stains, production notes and tape, scratch effects, corner creasing, and general edge and handling wear.
