Sam Glanzman (attributed) The World Around Us #37 - The Sea "Food From the Sea" Unpublished Story Pages Original Art Group of 2 (Gilberton, c. 1961). Gilberton's The World Around Us ended after just 36 issues, leaving planned projects like Issue #37 unpublished in the US -- but it is possible some of the content was used in international publications which licensed the series, though it is not confirmed. These opening two pages by Glanzman from "Food From the Sea", Pages 40-41, cover fishing throughout the ages. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with approximate image areas of 10.5" x 18". Toning, title paste-up at the top of Page 40, text correction paste-ups, discolored tape/registration marks, puncture in the top right corner, and tape adhesive staining on Page 41, marginal notes, whiteout corrections, with soiling/staining and handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition. Includes a stat adhered on the back of Page 40 of art from the last panel of Page 41.
