Description
Ed Hannigan and Jim Mooney Planet of the Apes #5 Double Page Spread 6-7 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). The apes and humans go to war, as both sides suffer heavy losses on this page from "Evolution's Nightmare!" Twice-up scale in ink, wash, black pencil, and graphite over blue pencil on two separate illustration boards with a combined image area of 28" x 19.75". Panel 2 and 11 are stat art paste-up with hand-embellishment. Slight toning, editorial notes/marks, discolored text paste-up at the top right, with staining, smudging, and edge/handling wear.
