Gerry Embleton Look and Learn #81 "The British Defeat at Saratoga" Illustration Original Art (Fleetway, 1963). This somber illustration ran in Look & Learn, a British weekly newspaper that published a number of lively historical and scientific articles with accompanying artwork. Considering how that battle wrapped up, we think it's very egalitarian of Look & Learn to publish said story. Dated 8-3-63, this piece was rendered in goauche over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 12.5" x 16". Board is lightly toned. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
