Reynold Brown (as Hal Forrest) Tailspin Tommy Daily Comic Strip #2905 Original Art dated 8-30-37 (Bell Syndaicate, c. 1937) Reynold Brown ghosted this strip for several years. He is well-known for painting movie posters such as Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Tarantula, I Was a Teenage Werewolf, and many of our favorites from the 1950-60s. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 29" x 6.5". Moderate toning, syndicate stamp on the reverse side, heavy adhesive staining, folds between the panels, pinholes corner bends, and marginal notes. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
