Marge Buell The Saturday Evening Post Vol. 208 #8 Little Lulu Single Panel Comic Strip Original Art (Curtis Publishing, 1935). Free air? Lulu doesn't waste a second, turning the service garage's hose into the perfect shortcut for inflating her swim float! Originally published in the 8-24-1935 edition of The Saturday Evening Post during Little Lulu's first year, the character appeared weekly in the magazine through 1944, before graduating into a regular comic strip. Created in ink and wash over graphite with a matted image area of 6.5" x 7", glass-front framed to 14" x 14.5". Light toning and whiteout touch-ups. Signed by Buell in the lower right of the image area. Presents in Very Good condition.
