Description

The Practical Pig Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). "I'll be right with you!" Practical Pig calls to the Big Bad Wolf, the villain disguised as a mail man outside his door. Unfortunately for the wolf, Practical sees right through his disguise - he's not only not going to be captured like his brothers, he's going to get them back! This wonderful 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing from this Burt Gillett-directed Silly Symphony can be found at about the 4:37 mark just before Practical pulls the lever that sends the Big Bad Wolf crashing down into the basement. Rendered in graphite with color pencil, this endearing drawing measures roughly 3.25'' x 5.25'' and is centered on the page. The page is noted as 53 with a timing chart along the right border and two small notes in red. Practical Pig is in Very Good condition overall with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and one reinforced peghole.
