Timothy Truman and Hilary Barta Starslayer #22 Story Page 16 Original Art (First, 1984). Tim Truman's Starslayer run marked his breakout, showcasing his gritty art style and launching his career in indie comics with bold, pulp-infused storytelling. In this scene, Starslayer and his crew confront the massive Golden Mobae who reveals he is lost and dying. Starslayer assigns Chris to repair the damaged homing device to guide him home when pirates suddenly interrupt, threatening the mission and the creature's last hope. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Signed by Barta in the lower margin. Whiteout touch-ups and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.
