Description
The Flintstones Storyboard Drawings Signed by Jean Vander Pyl and Joe Barbera (Hanna-Barbera, 1961). Betty and Wilma talk about how their husbands react when they know the ladies plan to go shopping. This spectacular storyboard sheet from The Flintstones presents the introductory scene for the episode "Social Climbers" drawn by Don Gordon in nine panels rendered in graphite. Under each 3" x 2.5" drawing, the dialogue for each of the ladies is written down in pencil. This amazing piece of production art was signed during the Midwest Animation Lecture Series in the '90s by the great Joe Barbera (1911 - 2006) and the talented voice actress Jean Vander Pyl (1919 - 1999), the voice of Wilma! The storyboard sheet is matted with a 12.25" x 10" opening. The overall condition is Very Good with some light toning, handling wear, and soiling across the page.Auction Info
