Don Spaulding Lone Ranger #109 Cover Painting and Preliminary Original Art (Dell, 1957). The charcoal study for this cover has an image area of 7.25" x 10.25". This illustration board has been matted to 12.5" x 16". From this prelim piece, Spaulding created a 9" x 13" painting from this on canvas wrapped board. It was matted to 14.25" x 18.25".
