Description

John Romita Jr. and Bob Wiacek Iron Man #258 Story Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1990). Tony Stark suits up in a hurry on this page, snapping into the Iron Man armor as a crisis brews at Nuke U in John Byrne's "Armor Wars II" story "Lo, A Spectral Enemy Rises...". And Byrne even left readers a sly hint: take the first letter of each word in the title and you get LASER, his sneaky way of tipping off the true villain before the reveal. Ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Slight toning, smudging, whiteout touch-ups, tape over page number paste-up, minor spot stain in lower margin, and lower right corner crease. In Excellent condition.
