Description
Leonard Starr Mary Perkins, On Stage Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 2 (Chicago Tribune, 1974-78). The drama of being an actress plays out across this group of On Stage dailies featuring Mary Perkins and her husband Pete Fletcher. Strips are dated 10-28-74 and 11-29-78. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 16.5" x 5". Slight toning, pinholes, editorial marks/notes, and smudging/handling wear. The 10-28 strip has a paste-up text correction in the third panel and is in Very Good condition. The 11-29 strip has extensive residue staining in the third panel from a missing paste-up and is in otherwise Good condition.More information about Leonard Starr. See also: Starr, Leonard Artist.
