Description

Marty Links and Ted Martine Emmy Lou Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-21-57 (Consolidated News Features, Inc., 1957). Martha "Marty" Links started Emmy Lou in 1951 as a spinoff of her 1940s feature, Bobby Sox, adapting the awkward teenager Emmy Lou from Bobby Sox's slightly older sub-deb character. Produced in ink over graphite on age-toned Bristol board. The image area measures approximately 20.25" x 24". A darkened logo stat, marginal adhesive residue, edge and handling wear, light soiling, and some areas of un-erased graphite lines, have this Sunday strip in Very Good condition.
