Description
Gonzalo Mayo - Vampirella Story Page Original Art (Warren, c. 1970s). Vampirella confronts Conrad Van Helsing in an opulent parlor, her presence commanding a tense gathering. Gonzalo Mayo's brushy inks and dramatic chiaroscuro heighten mood, while close panels focus on dread, obsession, and unspoken menace. While it does not appear to have been published in Warren's Vampirella, it remains unclear whether the artwork surfaced elsewhere. Ink and wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.25" x 16"; additional text on a vellum overlay. Light handling/ edge wear.
