Reed Crandall and George Evans Classics Illustrated #18 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame Story Page 26 Original Art (Gilberton, 1960). Frollo spies on a meeting between Phoebus and Esmeralda on this page from the adaptation of the classic Victor Hugo novel. Twice-up scale in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18". Slight toning, title paste-up and pinholes in the top margin, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, adhesive staining from a missing text paste-up, whiteout corrections, with soiling/staining and edge/handling wear.
