Mickey's Trailer Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy Studio Model Sheet (Walt Disney, 1938). Here is a particularly fantastic find: a rare studio-printed model sheet created during the production of the Ben Sharpsteen-directed theatrical short Mickey's Trailer, released on 5/6/1938. Interestingly, this model sheet lists Burt Gillett as the director of the film, and the film is listed by its working title "Trailer Troubles", making it a rare piece from the short's early production. Model sheets like this one were printed for exclusive studio use only, and they were made in extremely limited quantities. They were essential tools for animators to created accurate and consistent designs throughout the film. This marvelous and rare piece is matted with a window size of 11.5" x 9" and an overall mat size of 18"x 15.5". The piece shows minor handling and edge wear with a vertical fold down the center.
