The Worm Turns Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "Oh boy! It works! It works!" Mickey Mouse takes a turn as a mad scientist in the beloved classic theatrical short The Worm Turns, directed by Ben Sharpsteen. Telling the story of Mickey's new courage-building potion, The Worm Turns was released to theaters on 1/2/1937. This wonderful original animation drawing features Mickey at 5.75" x 4.5" on the 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. He is rendered masterfully in graphite and color pencil in a great full-figure pose. The drawing is numbered 37 in the lower right corner, and it shows minor handling and edge wear with light age-related toning.
