Description
Garfield and Friends "The Legend of Long Jon" Garfield and Odie Production Cel (Film Roman, 1989). "That's your ancestor, the evil pirate Long Jon!" Jon makes a startling discover when he visits Yorktown with Garfield and Odie: one of his ancestors was a traitorous pirate during the revolutionary war. Because of this unpatriotic relation, the trio is chased by an angry mob! This great image depicts Garfield and Odie as they discover that they won't be getting a very warm welcome at the historical site, a moment which can be found at about the 1:28 mark of the episode. This fantastic, hand-painted setup of two 12 field production cels features an image of a frightened-looking Garfield and Odie that measures about 5" x 5" on a 12 field cel. The cel setup has been placed atop a color print background from the show. The cels are labeled in their lower right corners with G10 and O1. What great expressions! The condition of this funny piece is Very Good, with just minor handling and edge wear.From the Jim Davis Collection.
