Description

Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Joe E. Brown and Martha Raye Original Storyboard Art (Walt Disney, 1938). This hilarious Silly Symphony parodied classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes with popular Hollywood stars, and Joe E. Brown and Martha Raye are getting in on the action! The two appear together in the short, though neither look as they do in this hard to find storyboard. This graphite with color pencil storyboard looks to have been created with earlier designs for the two that didn't make it into the final film with Martha wearing an outfit similar to Mae West and her trio in the short. We've seen a few pieces of storyboard art from this short, but very little of either of these characters! It's especially rare to find early designs like this! Don't miss your chance to grab this amazing storyboard, noted 10 in the lower right and measuring about 7'' x 5.5'' on 8.25'' x 6.5'' paper. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and pegholes from studio use.
