Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and King Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Mickey, the tailor, is summoned to the King's court after news spread about his killing of seven giants that were actually just seven flies. Presented in this lot are two drawings, one of Mickey acting out his prowess and one of the King thrilled by his heroic deed. Directed by Burt Gillett, Brave Little Tailor was released into theaters on 9/23/38. These two animation drawings, numbered in the bottom right corner 31 for the King and 43 for Mickey, display the two characters rendered in graphite, with Mickey's drawing also displaying green pencil. Mickey and the King measure about 4.25" on the 12 field size 5-peghole animation paper. Both drawings show light toning and very light handling wear from production and the King's drawing has three reinforced pegholes. The overall condition of the lot is Very Good.
