Garfield in Paradise Garfield Production Cel and Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Film Roman, 1986). "It's so great to be back in Hawaii...For my first song, I'd like to sing something from my latest album!" In this scene from the Emmy-nominated special Garfield in Paradise, Garfield dreams that he is a musical superstar named Garfield Ho (based off real-life entertainer Don Ho). This image depicts "Garfield Ho" as he prepares to sing to an adoring crowd of feline fans in Hawaii, a moment which can be found at about the 2:50 mark in the special. This great original, hand-painted production cel features an image of a dressed-up Garfield that measures about 3.75" x 4.5" on a 12 field cel. This cel is also paired with its corresponding animation drawing, which is created with graphite and colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. Both the cel and the drawing are marked in their lower right corners with G1. In addition, the drawing also contains a detailed Color Model, which describes what colors each part of Garfield should be painted. What a dynamic pose from superstar Garfield!
