Description
The Smurfs Gargamel and Azrael Production Cel and Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1981). "I'll get you, I'll get all of you if that's the last thing I ever do!" Here's a fantastic Key Master setup from The Smurfs featuring Gargamel (sometimes rereferred to as Gargy) along with his pet kitty, Azrael. Gargy is the show's main villain, he appears with Azrael through Season 8. Azrael is usually helpful in ferreting out hiding Smurfs for his master, though at times he tends to get in the wizard's way, resulting in Gargamel getting angry with his pet for his amateurishness. Gargy stands full-figure at 4", hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with its Key Master background. The background was hand-painted in gouache on 12 field background board. The piece is matted to 14" x 18" with an aperture of 11.5" x 9". This Key Master setup is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
