Description

Bill Plympton The Simpsons "Homer's Face" Couch Gag Animation Drawings Original Art Group of 3 (Fox, 2018). Homer's head keeps getting bigger and bigger, and BIGGER in this sequence of three original 12 field 3-peghole animation drawings. They are from the bizarre (and very funny) opening couch gag from Season 29, shown in the episode "3 Scenes plus a Tag from a Marriage." Inkpot and Winsor McCay Award-winning artist Bill Plympton created this incredibly weird color pencil opening "couch gag" sequence, one of many he's done for The Simpsons. Mr. Plympton created his first such gag sequence beginning with Season 23 in 2012, and he's contributed a different gag for almost every season since (plus a DVD intro). Homer's figure size is approximately 4.5" x 7.25" in the drawing noted in the lower right as 263; 5.5" x 7.5" on the drawing noted as 266; and 11" x 8.75" (yes, it's HUGE) on drawing 276. All three drawings are hand-signed by the artist. Overall condition is Very Good with minor handling.
