Description
Nick Pitarra - Hellboy and Abe Sapien Specialty Illustrations Original Art Group of 2 (2006). Hellboy wrestles tooth and tentacle to line up a clean shot at Ogdru Jahad, while Abe Sapien raises his prize in the graveyard ruins, a thousand-year-old egg that passes for a tasty snack. Both scenes come alive in Pitarra's hand, the artist best known for The Manhattan Projects. Created in ink over blue pencil on Bristol boards with image areas of 11" x 17" and 9" x 13". Preliminary sketches on the reverse of both. Smudging and handling wear. Signed and dated by Pitarra in the upper right image area. In Excellent condition.More information about Nick Pitarra.
