Description
Disney Fan/Lobby Cards Signed by Ward Kimball Group of 2 (Walt Disney, c. 1950s). One of "Walt's Nine Old Men" and a true legend of animation, Ward Kimball (1914 - 2002) signed and inscribed these two Disney cards, based on films he had worked on. The first is a Cinderella (1950) fan card featuring Gus and Jaq with other mice; Ward signed in the top left corner with an arrow to the mice and the note "I worked on these!" The card measures 9.25" x 7.25", and has a dust shadow and edge wear, including a few small tears. The second card is a 1963 reissue mini lobby card for Lady and the Tramp (1955), measuring 10" x 8" and featuring Si and Am, the Siamese Cats. Ward dated the card '87, and wrote "I designed these cats but didn't do animation." This piece has some handling wear and a storage crease along the left side. Good condition.Auction Info
