The Jackson 5ive Michael Jackson Production Cel (Rankin-Bass, c. 1971-72). Here's a groovy "psychedelic" production cel featuring the King of Pop in his formative years. This wonderful piece is from The Jackson 5ive cartoon series. The animated series was a fictionalized portrayal of the careers of Motown recording group the Jackson 5. It aired on ABC from 9/11/1971 to 10/14/1972. Michael stands 3" tall with his four brothers in silhouette. The hand-painted 12 field cels are placed over a full-painted 12 field background cel. The piece is matted to 14" x 18" with a matboard aperture of 11" x 8". It's a terrific piece of production art. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
