Cathy Guisewite Cathy Specialty Illustration Original Art (2021). Guisewite's "emotional coping mechanism" of finding humor in the struggle between feminism and traditional gender roles turned out to bear fruit in Cathy, the long-running comic strip (1976-2010). Here, the Emmy- and Reuben-winning artist notes an anniversary for the feature. Ink and crayon over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 6.6" x 5". Excellent condition.All proceeds from this special National Cartoonists Society Foundation auction item will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
