Captain America persuades Namor the Sub-Mariner to defy his mother's demand to avoid aiding surface dwellers, enlisting his help to take down a Nazi death camp in Atlantis filled with P.O.W.s. This reverent page from "Descent Into Madness Part Two: Sins of the Mother" highlights the deep regard the Atlantean prince holds for his Invaders teammate. Rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 14". Smudging, whiteout touch-ups, and minor handling wear.
