Cap Stubbs and his doggone adorable sidekick Tippie are up to their usual mischief, keeping Grandma Sara Bailey on her toes and readers grinning. This charming set of boy-and-his-dog antics comes from the pen of Edwina Dumm, a true trailblazer, recognized as the first full-time female editorial cartoonist and one of the earliest and most influential women in comics history. This group includes dailies from 2-7, 2-14, 2-15, 2-16, and 9-19 (years not indicated). Also includes one completely undated strip. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21" x 4.75". Toning, minor foxing, smudging, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial marks, production oil staining, marginal pinholes, and handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.
