Description

Guy Davis Sandman Mystery Theatre #16 Story Page 16 Original Art (DC, 1994). Sandman Mystery Theatre was a Vertigo series that put a more realistic patina over the Golden Age super hero, the Sandman. Writer Matt Wagner reframed Wesley Dodds' super hero antics as pulp era hard-boiled noir and the series enjoyed a lengthy run. This scene from Part 4 of "The Vamp" finds Wesley Dodds and Dian Belmont in an intimate moment. Produced in Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Faint toning, handling and edge wear. Production marks in blue graphite. Signed by Davis in the lower right corner. In Excellent condition.
