Charles Bosseron Chambers - "St. Anthony: A Friend in Need" Illustration Original Art (c. 1920). Charles Bosseron Chambers is considered to be the Normal Rockwell of Catholic Art, with imagery depicting Franciscan life, and best known for his portrait of the infant Christ-The Light of the World. Notes on the reverse side say "S.A.G. #126". Created in mixed media on illustration board with an image of 14.5" x 21.5". Moderate toning, nicks along the edges, corner bends and handling wear, staining around the image from matting. Signed and in Very Good condition.Auction Info
