Description
Frank McSavage (attributed) - Walt Disney's Vacation Parade #3 Inside Front Cover Original Art (Dell, 1952). Animator and illustrator Frank McSavage worked at the Disney Studios from 1936 to the late 1940s, and is best known for his stories with Grandma Duck and Gus Goose. His other funny animal credits include Woody Woodpecker, Oswald the Rabbit, Walter Lantz's Chilly Willy, Barney Bear and MGM's The Mouseketeers. "A Roundup of Vacation Fun" gives us a glimpse into the playful world of Donald and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, who substitute their uncle for bucking bronco. Elegantly inked with strong flowing lines, this crackerjack piece measures an overall 15.25" x 19.5" and has a 12" x 16.5" image area. There is some slight aging and staining, mostly outside of the image area, otherwise it's in Excellent condition.
