The Marvel Family #83 Crowley Copy pedigree (Fawcett, 1953) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. Looks like editor Wendell Crowley was being influenced by the horror titles coming from EC for this scary Marvel Family issue. It's from near the end of the run; in fact, only six more issues would follow. Crowley's copy is loaded with cover gloss and rich color, and is currently the only example of this issue listed in the CGC census. Overstreet 2005 NM- 9.2 value = $180.
