Description

All Star Comics #3 (DC, 1940) CGC FR 1.0 Off-white pages. When the first meeting of the Justice Society of America was called to order, comic history was made! This issue is so famous that it's gotten very expensive (#13 on Overstreet's "top Golden Age books" list) -- if the VF-and-up books are out of your price range, this might be just the copy for you, especially since the classic front cover image looks good. Note that a small plastic stabilizing peg is loose inside the CGC holder, not affecting the comic itself or the integrity of the holder. CGC notes, "Cover detached & completely split. Tape stain on spine of cover & interior cover." Overstreet 2006 GD 2.0 value = $3,611. CGC census 3/07: 2 in 1.0, 22 higher.

CGC Grader Notes:
Back Cover Wear All Edges
Front Cover Spine Split
Front Cover Wear All Edges
Interior Small Tape Stain
Left Top Front Cover Large Tape Stain
Staple Cover Detached
