Description
Dragon Ball Model Sheet Studio Print Set (Toei Animation, c. 1986-1989). Offered in this lot is a stunning set of studio-printed model sheets used for the production of the Dragon Ball anime series. Produced by Toei Animation from 1986 through 1989, the series is based on Akira Toriyama's manga of the same name. It follows Goku, a young boy with a monkey tail, through his adventures to get stronger and collect the legendary Dragon Balls. These production materials are known as settei, consisting of character and prop model sheets which showcase different views and expressions. They are created to keep characters and items on model throughout production. This stunning settei set consists of over 40 pages that feature key characters such as Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, Master Roshi, and Shenron. Note that they are stapled together at the top left corner. The pages have wear to the edges and corners, with various creases and folds as well as slight discoloration. The back has a small tear at the top. With general handling and age wear, these stunning foundational materials are in Good condition.Auction Info
