Pokémon Charizard (Glurak) 4 1st Edition Base Set BGS Trading Card Game GEM MINT 9.5 (The Pokémon Company, 1999) German, Rare, Holo. When Wizard of the Coast obtained the distribution rights for the Pokémon TCG outside of Japan, it completely changed the game for the TCG. The Pokémon TCG instantly became a world phenomenon and has no signs of slowing down even today. Here we have the most desired card in the Pokémon TCG, a 1st Edition Base Set Charizard. Please note that this is the German version, Glurak. The popularity of Charizard is unmatched, even overshadowing that of Pikachu, the franchise mascot. BGS has assigned the following sub-grades to the card: centering (9), edges (9.5), corners (9.5), and surface (9.5). The artwork is done by Mitsuhiro Arita.
